Academic work

I am a researcher in education, currently a Junior Research Fellow at Homerton College, Cambridge. My PhD research focused on children’s literature theory, with a strong philosophical undercurrent; I was working towards an existentialist theorisation of children’s literature and of the adult-child relationship. My current research revolves around the concept of child giftedness. It is firmly interdisciplinary, leaning on the philosophy and sociology of education and of childhood.

In this section you’ll find out more about my current research, my PhD research, my academic CV, and what it’s like to study children’s literature at Cambridge.
